About the Role

We are seeking an attorney with 3+ years of insurance coverage, bad faith, or commercial litigation experience to join our growing California team. This role offers meaningful case ownership, direct client contact, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated coverage matters involving commercial property, liability, builders’ risk, cyber, professional lines, and construction-related issues.

You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team with opportunities for growth as our West Coast practice continues to expand.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation from inception through resolution
• Conduct coverage analysis across a range of commercial and specialty policies
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and dispositive motions
• Handle written discovery and take/defend depositions
• Appear in state and federal courts
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar admission (additional states a plus)
• 3+ years of insurance coverage and/or complex litigation experience
• Experience with construction defect or risk transfer matters preferred
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
